Life Changes

We have been discussing our future - where we want to be financially especially - and it just feels as though a career in pharmacy for Brady isn't in the plan. Brady has been working so hard at school, but realistically it would be another eight to ten years before he's finished and then we would have a mound of student loan debt to pay off. Plus, we might have to sell our house and move out of state so he could go to school.That's just not cool with us.

So, we've taken a step back and re-examined Brady's interests and talents and he does have a knack for technology. He's decided to do one more year at MCC then he'll go to ASU in the fall pursuing a degree in Computer Systems Engineering. The great thing about it is that Verizon (who he currently works for) will pay for all of his school!! Brady's gone to ASU for advising and feels secure in that this is the right field for him. It feels great to have a solid plan and a light at the end of the tunnel. He'll be able to do mostly online courses, so he'll be home more and we both think he'll truly enjoy it. I'm excited to have a computer nerd husband!

Thats about where we stand now...we had to get a new computer to handle his course load, so we're enjoying that. Nathan is peachy and talking so much. He mostly speaks complete sentences and is very well mannered! Asta!
