Temple Lights

Brady had Christmas Eve off of work, so after a relaxing day at home we took Nathan to the Temple grounds to see the lights for the first time. Our child is obsessed with Christmas! We drive around our neighborhood almost nightly to see the lights. He loves the decorations and the tree in our home (which came down two days after Christmas, it was dead!). He knows all about Santa and reindeer and elves and the North Pole, but he also knows that it is Jesus' birthday and knows there's more to Christmas. Its so sweet to be able to share everything Christmas is about with him.

Plus, he loves the Temple! We tell him its where we became a family when Mommy and Daddy were married. He loves seeing the statue of Christ and hearing "Jesus talk". We also watched the Luke II video about the birth of Christ. It was a great thing to do on Christmas Eve!
