What's Going On!?

PHEW! The play is over and I feel like I can return back to a semi-normal life (although I'm now fighting a cold, but if its not one thing its another). We have been busy in addition to working and (single handedley) producing Shakespeare at the high school!

Nathan loves to play on the computer and he even knows how to go to playhousedisney.com by himself! Sophie has discovered how much fun the computer is and we found them laughing together with their little bums in the air.
Our little stinkers follow after us with their love for technology!

While getting ready for work one morning someone decided to walk around in my heels...
YES! My SON! Hey, he's got nice legs....

So one Sunday afternoon I wanted to do an art project involving shaving cream and food coloring. The end project is suppose to be this swirlly, cool multi colored painting...but Sophie and Nathan just ended up naked (or nearly naked) and covered in green shaving cream!
FYI, food color does not come off of skin very easily, we had green children for a couple days. :)
Last Saturday, my mom and I went for pedicures. Sophie came along and was so interested in the whole process. She splashed in the water and sat next to me while my toes were painted and then she started demanding her own pedicure. She stuck her feet out and said "paint", "pink"...well what's a mom to do! The guy let her pick out a color and she chose the brightest pink ever!
Sophie has never sat so still in her life...just absolutely fascinated! I had to get a picture of our toes together. I wish the bright color of the neon pink showed better.
Also, last Saturday was Nathan's very first t-ball game. He started the game out in tears, but after a little time away to think he decided to play and did GREAT! He hit the ball the very first swing both times he was up to bat.
He ran the bases great!
He even made it to home plate and gave a high five to his coach. The helmet was way too small and it really bothered him. Poor Nathan has a adult size head and his coach had kid size helmets. Grandpa took Nathan to Sport Chalet after the game and bought him a helmet, so we're set for this week's game!
So, even with the chaos of teaching, working and doing a play we still make time for our wonderful kiddos! Nathan and Sophie are such great kids and are getting good at going with the flow...Fall Break is a week and a half away!!!!!
